Bigotry

Introduction
Bigotry is a broadly used word to refer to hatred that revolves around aspects of an individual that cannot be controlled. Things such as race, gender (gender expression, gender identitity, etc), sexuality (sexual orientation, etc), religion, disability, mental disorder(s), and country of origin are all variables which do or can affect ever person on this earth. There are numerous possibilities for each of these variables that can affect a person, endless combinations.
On its own, it may not seem so bad to those who are new to the topic. Everyone has their own personal opinions on other people. However, bigotry rarely confines itself to simply personal opinions. It seeps out into society where it causes real world harm. In discriminitory legislation and violent acts, bigotry can be found throughout today's society. For those whose "variables" are out of whatever happens to be considered "the norm" in a particular location, life can be (and typically is) a lot more difficult for those with different variables.

General Information
The problem at the core of bigotry, no matter who it is directed at, is that it is fundamentally wrong. Morality is not tied to one's gender or sexuality. You cannot determine whether or not a person is safe or dangerous on the basis of their physical appearance. There is no gender or sexuality that makes you a good or a bad person. There is no gender or sexuality that determines whether or not you are capable of or likely to commit a certain crime. People should be judged on their actions, not their appearances.
If you are someone who has had something bad happen to you by the hands of someone who was [insert variable of human nature] that does not say anything about all people of that particular variable. That says something about that particular person. I guarantee you that someone with a variable variant that you would typically approve of has done the same thing, perhaps even worse.
This is because despicable acts are not tied to a specific variant of person. They are tied to humanity. Pointing fingers at broad groups of humanity achieves nothing. The only variable which can be deemed a true way to identify a person who should not exist is wealth. No human being should posess $1B as long as any other human being can be homeless or starving.
There is no justification for hoarding wealth.
