Please note that while some sections of this dictionary may speak about certain concepts in binary terms that nonbinary and intersex people do, in fact, exist. The human experience is not a monolith, and neither are these groups of people. There is a huge variety when it comes to both sex and gender. What works for one person may not work for another. Everyone looks and feels different. Every body is different. Procedures which may be 'traditionally' for trans men or trans women may be mixed and matched depending on personal preference. It is impossible to account for every possible situation when making resources like this, but it is important to note that what is written down is not the only option
The transgender experience is highly subjective. There is no "trans enough." If you're trans, then you're trans. Its up to you to decide what you want to do with yourself, and how you want to live your life. Find what is right for you, and do it. The standards or expectations of others should not be the reason you decide to get this surgery or that garment or whatever. Its your body to customize. Its your body that you'll be in for the rest of your life.
So live it.

Always be thorough with your own personal research before undergoing any procedure so that you are fully aware of all of the risks and benefits, and assess as many options as you possibly can.

- Science Direct: Chapter Four - Gender Stereotypes and Discrimination: How Sexism Impacts Development (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0065240715000348) - In this chapter, we summarize and integrate some of the latest developmental science research on gender stereotypes and discrimination in childhood and adolescence. We focus on five forms of sexism: (a) stereotypes and discrimination against boys regarding their school behaviors and disciplinary actions; (b) stereotypes and discrimination against girls in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) domains; (c) stereotypes and discrimination in sports; (d) peer gendered harassment, including sexual harassment and teasing because of gender atypicality or nonconformity; and (e) sexualized gender stereotypes that sexually objectify girls and assume boys are sexually voracious. First, we document each type of sexism and examine children's awareness and perceptions of that bias, including their own self-reports and attributions. We examine the implications of this sexism for children and adolescents’ developmental health (i.e., social, academic, and psychological well-being). We then draw connections between these various areas of research, focusing on how these different forms of sexism interact to reduce equity and justice among children and negatively impact positive developmental outcomes. The chapter concludes with suggestions for future research.
