This is a descriptive term that is primarily used by nonbinary people who feel a connection with manhood or being a man in some manner of speaking.
This term can be used to describe onself as, in part, identifying with being a man or manhood. This may be in the case of having a gender identity that relates to manhood without fully being a man. This may also be used to refer to experiencing queersexuality in the way that a man would.
This term can be used to describe oneself as being perceived as a man, being read as a man, and/or generally interacting with the world in the way that a man would. This can be either deliberate or accidental. This may be a result of being closeted.
Masculine - (adj.) - Having qualities traditionally associated with those who are seen as men or males.
Masculine of Center - (adj.) - Having a gender that is closer to “male” than to “female” or other genders.
Masculine-Presenting - (adj.) - This term describes people who have a gender expression or presentation that they or others categorize as masculine. Masculine-presenting captures the part of someone’s gender that’s shown externally, either through aspects of their style, appearance, physical traits, mannerisms, or body language. This term doesn’t necessarily indicate anything about the way someone identifies their gender or the gender or sex assigned to them.
Masculinity - (n.) - The quality or nature of the male sex. The characteristics (such as behavior and appearance) that amount to being percieved as male or masculine.
Mulleripathians - (n.) - People with T.M.D.P. and XX chromosomes.
Multigender - (adj.) - An umbrella term for all people with multiple genders, including bigender, trigender, polygender and pangender, as well as genderfluid people who identify as multigender.
Multigenital - (adj.) - An altersex term used to describe the desire for multiple sets of genitalia.
Multigonadal - (adj.) - An altersex term used to describe the desire for more than three sets of gonads.
Multisexual - (adj.) - Relating to or being a person who experiences sexual attraction towards more than one gender.
Muxe - (n.) - A gender or social role in Zapotec culture that does not have an exact Western counterpart. A Muxe is a person who is initially assigned a male gender but who dresses and/or acts in ways often considered feminine. Muxes may identify as men, women, or another gender, and may or may not identify as trans.
Mx. - (h.) - The abbreviation of the aforementioned term mix.
