Packer - (n.) - A prosthetic (typically phallic in nature) which is placed in one's underwear to give the outward appearance of having a bulge. Typically used by transgender men and transmasculine people.
Packing/(to) Pack - (v.) - The act of using a packer.
The state of being perceived as the gender one wishes to be seen as.
When someone who is transgender is easily or often assumed to be the gender they identify as without revealing said gender to others.
Pathologization - (n.) - The act of treating something as an illness or disorder, which is abnormal and needs to be fixed. Transgender status is often pathologized.
Per/Perself - (pronoun) - A gender neutral set of pronouns coined by John Clark in the 1972 issue of the "Newsletter of the American Anthropological Association". These nounself pronouns are derived from the word "person" and while uncommonly used can be used to refer to anyone and can be used by anyone.
Polyamorous - (adj.) - Being in (or wanting to be in) more than one consensual relationship at the same time.
Polygender - (adj.) - Having or experiencing several genders, either simultaneously or over time; may also include an agender or genderless experience.
Polysexual - (adj.) - Relating to or being a person who experiences sexual attraction towards multiple (though not necessarily all) genders.
Post-op - (adj.) - Slang referring to a transgender person who has already undergone surgical transition. Sometimes referring to a specific surgery, or all relevant surgeries; depending on where that person is on their own personal transition timeline.
Preferred Pronouns - (n.) - The pronouns that a person wished to be called by. Using a person’s preferred pronouns is a key part of respecting their gender.
Pregnancy - (n.) - The condition of being pregnant.
Someone who has not yet undergone hrt, but plans on doing so.
Pre-op - (adj.) - Slang referring to a transgender person who has not undergone surgical transition. Sometimes referring to any and all surgeries, sometimes referring to a specific surgery, depending on the person in question's personal transition goals.
Primary Sex Characteristics - (n.) - Anatomical organs that play a direct role in reproduction, such as the genitals.
Primary Sexual Attraction - (n.) - Sexual attraction to another person based on readily available information such as physical appearance. May or may not lead to sexual desire.
Prin - (h.) - A gender neutral word used to refer to a member of a royal family other than the monarch, especially the child of the monarch. Can be used in the same manner as words such as prince or princess.
Small words such as he, she, her, them, and us, which are used to refer to people. In English, there are four common third-person pronoun groups: he/his/him, she/hers/her, they/their/them, and it/its/it. Individual people may decide which of these pronouns they wish to be referred to as, or they may use pronouns that have been more recently coined.
A third-person term used to replace one's name in a sentence. Often used to indicate gender identity.
Preterbinary - (adj.) - Beyond the gender binary/spectrum of male and female.
