Introduction

There are various terms that have been used to describe the phenomenon of men who love other men. Terms may come and go, the concept itself is most certainly not new. There are both transgender and cisgender men who have the homosexual experience of loving other men.

While the focus of The Transgender Dictionary is on topics of gender and gender identity, pages such as this one have been included to discuss topics of sexuality and sexual orientation. There is much overlap between the experiences of those who are gender diverse and those who are not heterosexual.
