General Information

Chasers are people who specifically seek out partners who are transgender because they are transgender for fetishistic purposes. (Note- There are chasers who fit this same overall description but seek out people with traits other than "trans" - this section is regarding trans chasers.)

The difference between someone who is simply attracted to transgender individuals and a chaser is the level of respect involved. Chasers are primarily concerned about the fulfillment of their sexual fantasies, rather than the happiness of the other party involved.

While it is possible for chasers to be genuinely knowledgeable about transgender topics (ask for pronouns, ask people what terms they are comfortable having used to refer to their genitals, ask what acts they are comfortable with, etc) they generally are not and/or will push boundaries to suit their own needs.

Chasers generally don't wish for it to be common knowledge that they are doing sexual or romantic activities with a transgender person, keeping it a secret from as many people as possible.

Chasers will often prey on transgender people due to a perceived lack of self-esteem, deliberately lowering standards.
